Starting October 22nd, Signal Mountain Helicopters will be providing air tours to explore some of South Central Arizona's most significant man-made and natural geographic features.

Sightseeing flights will be designed to accommodate your desire, time and budget.

A Bell 206 Jet Ranger will be used for the tours and can accommodate seating for up to four passengers.

Flying from the Superior Municipal Airport, Superior, Arizona helicopter tour packages to include the following:


Historic/Prehistoric Tour: Approximate flight time is 20 minutes.
Descend into the Superstitions to discover the Salado Heartland and some of Arizona's historic ranches.  See ancient ruins and historic settlements that lie hidden within some of the most beautiful buttes and canyons in South Central Arizona including the Reavis Ranch, Circlestone Ruins and Rodgers Canyon.

Mountain View Tour: Approximately flight time is 10-12 minutes.
Enjoy spectacular views of some of the most prominent natural geographic features in Arizona.  This tour will fly you around Picket Post Mountain to see beautiful canyons and rock formations.

Mine Tour: Approximate flight time is 20 minutes.
During this tour you will fly over the Copper Corridor and Gila/Salt watershed to see the Coke Ovens, the Ray open pit mine, Resolution Copper's #9 and #10 headframes, Devils Canyon, the Marble Mine and Silver King Mine.

Custom tours including any combination of those listed above are available.  This also includes tours for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and Valentines Day.
